On July 20th I shall be taking part in the Leeds 10k in a wheelchair, raising funds for the Bulls' wheelchair rugby team, Macmillan Cancer Support and Sue Ryder Hospices. The guys over at Provident's "Supporting the Bulls Supporters" have donated a selection of Bulls items for me to auction off, which I'll be doing on Facebook over the coming weeks. This week you have the opportunity to win a signed ball. As I write this, the winning bid is just £20 so why not take the opportunity to get yourself some Bulls' memorabilia while helping out some great causes. Click here for the link to the auction page. It's surprisingly difficult to give to multiple charities via sites like Just Giving. Just Giving only allow a single charity, Virgin needs the charities to sign up which neither the wheelchair rugby team or the foundation have done etc. Most of them charge the charity to sign up and since I'm not going to earn the kings ransom doing this, it was barely worth their while. Having worked my way around most of them I eventually decided to just set up a PayPal account and then manually divvie up the donations at the end. The added advantage is that I can then show that to some of my bigger clients (I work with a lot of blue chips like Capita and Telefonica) and try to get them to match some/all of the donations. If you'd like to make a donation (and I'd be really grateful to anyone who did) there's a donate button on the left hand side of this page https://www.facebook.com/Wheelchair10k . Unfortunately Facebook recently made some changes and it now only shows up if you're on a computer, not a mobile device. Alternatively you can just send it to anthony.sheldrake@gmail.com but please send me a PM as I don't get notifications if you do it that way.

At the risk of annoying people, I'm going to give this a little bump as the auction is ending in the next few hours. The winning bid is just £25 at the moment so get in there and get yourself a bargain

The auction is now closed. The ball was won (slightly embarrassingly) by my sister who bid £35.

Next weeks auction will be for VIP box tickets to the Hull FC game, courtesy of Provident.
