Castleford's stadium has suffered damage from the strong winds overnight so tomorrow's game is currently in doubt.

They're holding a safety inspection this morning with a decision later.

Really hope they can get the ground safe enough for it to go ahead, particularly for the benefit of Lynchy!

The damage looks quite severe on the picture I saw on Twitter though. Red bricks scattered all over by one of the stands.

Andy Lynch's testimonial match v Bradford Bulls will go ahead on Sunday 11th January KO 2.30pm despite over night wind damage to the Princess Street Stand.

The Princess Street stand will be closed for this match and Bradford fans are advised to use Railway end, with Cas fans advised to use the Wheldon Road end.
There will be no turnstiles open on Princess Street and fans are reminded to get to the game early to ensure entry.

Castleford Tigers would like to thank all fans who have offered to help clear the damage but the club now has a professional team onsite and request that fans don't come down to the stadium today.

Shame because I prefer to be in the princess street stand but at least it can go ahead. If its peeing it down my advice would be to ignore the club statement and get in with cas folk under the roof rather tham get soaked at railway end.
