It is absolutely horrible. A young (29), fit lad with an incredibly young family, and that happens. I can't imagine how his family are feeling right now and I hope they get all the help and support they can.

Terrible news. Such a young man with a very young family. We are part of the rugby league family, we have had our own cardiac arrest issue with Adrian Purtell, which thankfully for him fell far short of this tragedy. Wouldn't it be good to have, perhaps a pre season friendly between the two teams to raise funds for Dannys widow and family. Something to think about possibly once this initial shock period is over. For now our thoughts are with his immediate family.

What an awful thing to happen to such a young bloke and his family. My thoughts and deepest commiserations are with his wife and family.

Really sad. My thoughts to his family at this time. I am sure the Rugby League family will be supportive now and in the near future.
