A Salford win would be better IMO I'd rather go to wakey on the back of us winning and them losing. Think Wakey's future will be decided in the first two games. If they lose against both us and Salford, I can't see where their next win will come from! And that would pretty much guarantee us a place in the million pound match!

Agree, also feel for the genuine supporters at Salford, they certainly don't deseve all that is going on. We as a club know exactly what is involved when your club is dragged through the mire and you as a supporter can do nothing about it, even though the Bulls supporters tried their best we couldn't influence any decisions taken at that level.

Salford have the players to win most games if their heads are right. I suggested a week ago that some players may see this as a chance to have their contracts torn up and allow them to leave for free. As some pointed out, no player will deliberately go out to lose but I state again, when a player has to bust a gut to make that crucial tackle or charge in to break a defence will the problems and wish to leave just affect him when it really matters?
We will soon see if they are 100% or just going through the motions. Remember the performances under Cummins at the end and those few games under Jimmy at the end of last season. Same players, different mentality. A large part of sport is played between the ears.

I'd much rather Wakefield lose at Salford. If we could go to Wakefield on 2 points (hopefully) and get a win, with them on 0, we'd be 4 points ahead of them with 5 games to play. It'd be a nice lead to have.

Team spirit was there in abundance yesterday against Wakefield. Watching us stretch to an early lead, then come back when momentarily go behind and add further to our score suggested players are happy. There was plenty of back slapping and smiling going on, with Koukash shaking the hand of each player as they left the field.
