Ferres rightly came in for stick for his player recruitment but these troubles have been caused by underper forming on the pitch. I suspect Ferres has done a decent job with many of the other aspects of the club. We have found the money to survive for two years and build youth development. Yes I do think he had to go because of the table position but I think it is a little unfair to throw everything at him.

The MD job - there are rumours that Harrison may return with the youth coaching. If so, couldn't Robbie take over the day to day running and Karl help Rohan as an assistant and also help him with recruitment of British players. Rohan probably doesn't need help with that though if his uncle has told him he will help with that as long as wire aren't also looking at that player.

According to the T&A article today, Robbie took on the commercial side when Rob Parker left. The youth setup is fine, keep John Bastian in charge, need to recruit to replace Diskin though.

I heard Leon is earmarked for a coaching job in the youth set up at some stage.

Interesting stuff. Can't help but wonder if it'll all be academic if we don't sort the finances out but nice to not think about that for the moment.

If Green did pay the staff with his own money as per the T&A he must be extremely confident of sorting the finances? I love clutching at straws but if Mick's right and Pryce is announced soon then I think I'll have more confidence that the off field shenanigans are under control.
