Question - If KR lose do we try and keep Clark. I say yes but no to Addey as he is as good as he will get and for me that isn't good enough. My only doubt about Addey is that he has always played out of position. Could Smith get him to improve playing at the back of the pack. Still not sure about that.

I think Rohan probably could. That said, like the others, I tend to think that Danny, for his own personal reasons, needs the move to pastures new and a fresh start.

We also have to remember that the cap in the championship is now on the same basis as SL, so if Mr. Hugell is still prepared to put the money in there would be no reason to cut players, even if they were to go down. In any case, I suspect they would keep the bulk of their fans and non-TV income. To be right, it's Salford who have the biggest worry are likely to be in the deepest doo doo.

IF it's KR that lose tomorrow, then I think the club need to step in and see about keeping Clark. If he's signed an SL contract then there might be some wiggle room there. That is if he has certainly signed a contract with them yet.

Obviously, it's all guesswork, but I'd hazzard that guess on both Danny and Mitch having got a raise at KR and if, given the equality in caps and assuming they go down, they would keep that if contracts were honoured. With money man Hudgell at the helm, I'd assume they would be. I don't think you'd need a crystal ball to guess that the Bulls won't be drawn into any auction so I can't see either staying, to be honest.

Even if KR were to pull up the drawbridge and start shedding staff I'd imagine that, Mitch in particular, would be the sort of bloke that many SL clubs would be more than happy to take a punt on.
