League express also reporting that an extra game will be announced shortly regarding a 7th fixture to be played at the Magic Weekend.Surely they wouldnt move our friday fixture up there against Newcastle and incorperate it into the magic weekend......would they??

To encourage Toronto and Toulouse's large away fan base to boost the Magic Weekend's ticket sales?

Lucky for the Wolfpack that as a new club, their fans won't realise they're being robbed of a home game in their season ticket package.

One issue is that you can't get a flight from Toulouse to Toronto. This game will be a Toronto 'home' game, so that problem goes away.

Yes the RFL would put our fixture at the MW purely because of numbers, in the past few years MW attendance has fallen Next year will see Toronto play with a fan base of 6!

Perhaps this is why certain chairman from Championship clubs were telling fans not to book flights to Toronto. Perhaps Leigh vs Toronto was suggested as a possible 7th fixture and they didn't want their fans booking flights and then finding that the game had been switched to Newcastle.
