As was stated, Leigh voted to cough up themselves in the event that it were any other club to go down. To whom people choose to give their money is entirely their own concern unless it be a governing body awarding it. This wasn't. Nothing to rant about.

It's a bit like the revers of when Omar was docked £500k and this was give to the other 11 teams. In a sense the Bulls have sponsored Leigh's relegation.

If someone has looked at those 'punishments' along with the ramifications, learned a lesson or three, and changed things so it won't happen again then I guess we'll have to put that down to progress, much as it does little (nothing?) for us it must be for the good of the game.

That said, I remain utterly unconvinced that any lessons have been learned and that it's simply more a matter of being yet another example of the capricious nature of the governing body.
