Crazy decision from our nearest and dearest. Unbeaten last year and 2 points off the playoffs in their first year back.

Saying that, they have always wanted to be like us so just following in our footsteps

My preference of available coaches would be Ward, McDermott or Anderson.

Wouldn’t mind having Toovey back!

But I think we’ll go with someone like Morrison or lure Pryce away from Fev.

A potential candidate has been offered the princely sum of £18000 pa to be our full time coach. He obviously turned this offer down.

That number means nothing without context unfortunately.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d approached Lovegrove and said something along the lines of “ we know you’ve had your contract paid up by Keighley to the tune of £18k - so we’ll double it and offer £18k as well”
Otherwise it’ll be in the £30k + range as it at least needs to be above national wage for the hours that the head coach will put in

unless that's pro rata,it's below minimum wage.
