Taufua could be on the end of a lengthy ban. Looks like deliberate contact with Griffins head. Could have easily been a red card.

Usually if there is a head on head clash, the tackler can be deemed reckless. Similar to the head clash that broke Okoro’s jaw. Which would have probably been Croft or Griffin with the channel Okoro was running into

Apparently Cameron Worsley was in the Black Horse during the game last night and he saw Jorge use his head deliberately and dropped Marcus a text, I’m afraid he’s looking at another 6 or 7 week ban.

In all seriousness it was poor technique from Tafua who was clearly trying to make a big impact to dislodge the ball, he hasn’t gone to deliberately attack Griffins head. The RFL disciplinary have completely lost all common sense at the moment though so who knows what they’ll come up with.
