I do think there is a great deal of moronic drivel being spoken on this website these days.
Yes, I accept that Steve Mc has had 3 years in charge and we haven't won anything yet.. but nobody else has apart from Saints and Leeds.
Yes, I also accept that most of our current squad aren't world class - but neither was the squad he inherited in 2006. At least the squad is now younger and has more pace - which is something we all know we have lacked in the past.
This may well be our worst start to a super league season, but, if you look at each match, signs are now starting to show we are improving (hull kr are defence was awesome but we couldn't attack, Vs Huddersfield we started much the same, but then forgot how to defend at half time, Wigan we where deservedly hammered, and yesterday, whilst our goal line defence wasn't up to scratch, and lack of confidence and cohesion caused many errors, we still scored 4 tries, which shows that even though we are out of form, we are starting to show we may be able to attack)
It is obviosuly correct that we haven't put in a complete performance yet, but with catalans away being our next match, I do feel that will be our first win. They are not playing that well either, and a match away from our latest acquisition (boo boys), may just help to take some pressure off, and give the squad the freedom to finally click.
I do find it odd, that our fans famed for being quiet, only make noise when they want to boo.
What people allways seem to overlook is that, Mcnamara signs the players and coaches them, he doesn't knock on, forward pass or miss tackles. A coach can only do so much, I wouls rather the players stood up and showed they wanted to play for this club, then pointlessly relace the coach.
By the the way, I am not a Macca Backer, I'm just not moronic enough to think that everything is his fault.
Yeah, i see no point in sacking the coach,in my opinion i would bring in some more back room staff, when we were winning trophies we had better backroom staff, we could do with a defense coach, i think there are several players who need to take some of the blame, for me Paul Deacon is doing nothing, he is slow and lacking ideas. His kicking game is shocking, i think Morrison is poor and Ricky Sheriffe was pathetic yesterday
FWIW as a Hull fan - I think it is slowly starting to come together for you guys. There were signs there yesterday that definately were not there against Wigan, and I think your first win will come this weekend. Lynch will be better for the run out and so will Langley. Crookes will have learnt a lot from facing Yeaman yesterday and so on.
Having spoking to Steve Mac a lot about rugby, he is very knowledgeable about the game and he talks a lot of sense, and i think your performances will change soon and you will start picking up the points

But surely passing and tackling is something that is handled in training? If the players are not coached to do this then we're going to get poor performances.
And tbh, your assessments of the games seems a little rose tinted. HKR were the better side for the majority of the match and we were lucky to steal a point from them.
We had no attack against Huddersfield (planned attacking moves come under tactics, which is the head coaches job to produce, and should be practiced on the training field again where a coach should be watching and making sure his tactics are being understood)
The fact we scored tries against Hull shows there is talent in the squad but they are not a cohesive unit. Hull FC are not the best team in the league (sorry hull fc fans but it true) however watching them play yesterday showed why they've won their 1st 5 games of the season. They support, they scrap, they defend and they grind out results. Just like they did yesterday. It seemed everytime we scored they pulled one back straight away.
I'm not a moron. I'm just stick of watching a poorly coached, idea lacking, demotivated team go backwards year after year under a coach who is not up to the challenge
I agree there were some positive signs against Hull.sadly the players are looking down and lacking in confidence which will not be helped by the boo merchants at the ground.
Thankfully we are away for a few weeks now and hopefully the team can quietly get on with improving there cohesion and form.

My thoughts entirely.
Even if he was the worst coach in the world surely the players would still be able to put something together.
OK so we havnt signed the best players but we dont know what goes on behind the scenes do we.
What Im trying to say is.....it cant all be the coaches fault.
The players, especially our halfs need to get creative and less predictable.
They dont have anything to lose at the moment so why not try something new.
I'll let you in to a secret, I cannot reverse park. When I was learning to drive my instructor talked me through it time and time again, and fortunately it wasn't in my test, so i passed.
I still haven't got much better at it now. Is my rubbish reverse parking the fault of my driving instructor or is it my own problem?
Is the fact that the Bradford players keeping passing to thin air the fault of the coach or the players doing it?

As you admit that you can't reverse park answer me this. If you were employed for a role where reverse parking was imperative who would be at fault. You or the bloke employing you?
