Heard today he's had his contract terminated by Warrington.

Surely, given the injuries he's had, he'd be a huge risk?

Sure I heard around the time of him leaving, about an attitude problem and the amount of money he was asking for?

I'd stay away, especially with the charges against him.

None of the players who left Bulls for Wire have exactly turned out to be fans' favourites - be it down to injuries or otherwise. Maybe the club knew a bit more about what it was doing than some gave it credit for?

It seems Smith is instigating the clear out at Wire that is needed at Bradford. Shame for Reardon, he seems a mile from the international of a few years back.

I'd suggest anyone who says yes who was opposed to Bird because of his (alleged) off-field antics is showing signs of extreme hypocrisy?

Yes Id welcome him back, provided he was clear of this recent injury.

And as for the attitude about cash when he left I think thats true, however, that was at a time when he thought he deserved a certain level of reward for his performances/improvements within a top 4 club at the time (Harry sunderland medal winner for us lets remember) and that other clubs were prepared to pay that higher level. Now he obviously does not warrant that level of pay and probably realises that himself, so he might be more humble this time, greatful for another chance and accept a wage more in line with what he's done in the past couple of seasons...i.e, not too much! we could pick up a decent full back/outside back on the cheap.

If his injuries are a real concern sign him on a pay as you play type deal.

I would like your opinions on what is going on at bradford.

There seems to be a backlash against deacon, he kicked warrington out of the game when i was at odsal last year.

Your transfer policy seems to be, get rid of all star names and buy lots of players that are slightly better than average so that you can't tell the difference between them?

You will be in a better position to judge then me, whats your views?
