Halley : Sun Jun 14, 2009 8:26 pm
Think he deserves special praise atm. He's definitely hit great form, he seems to be thriving on confidence, his kick returns have been world-class, his defence has been rock solid and he is offering us so much more in attack compared to Platt. Now Lynch has re-signed I think he's gotta be up there for top priority with Menzies.

Definatley a better full back than Platty. Just a shame it's taken Macca so long to realise it, but it appears that he's finally come round to the fact that we are a better team when Halley is at the back.

have it on good authority mate , that he has come round too late. he won't have to wait for macca next season, because he won't be there.

What good authority is this? The same 'good authority' which you had Lynch at cas?

I really hope he's not right this time aswell. I've always rated Halley, and now he's had time to properly prove himself I think he's worth a new contract. Plus -I don't know if you attended the fan forum- It would seem ridiculous given the emphasis on having a home-grown squad, to let Halley go when he's a product of the Bradford academy and doing a good job for us.

I doubt very much that Halley will be leaving the Bulls after his run this season which looks set to continue. Macca has increasingley shown faith in Dave and I'm very hopeful that Dave will reshow the faith to the club and Macca.

Last I heard, he hadn't decided where to go next year, but there had been interest from at least one other club, which I haven't seen named on this forum yet. As well as that, I would expect Wakefield would quite like to take him after his loan spell this year.

I think we'll lose him to be honest, and I can't say I blame him. I don't think his form was particularly worthy of being left out of the team on more than one occasion that he was, and if I were in his shoes, I'd be looking elsewhere.
