Can't say I've seen that rumour crop up on here.

I hope it's not right though. Hoping he'll sign a new Bradford contract.

Wouldn't be to bothered, he's not all that good. Plays better when Deacon isn't in the team for us though.

Losing Jeffries to be replaced by Obst or Rooney would be a new low as far as McNamara's recruitment policy goes.

So would losing Newton to be replaced by Obst though.

I once again say. If the rumours of us signing a halfback/hooker from Wakefield are correct, it better be Drew. Otherwise there ain't gonna be a lot of happy folk.

If he's after silly money, then obviously not. From a pure rugby point of view though, he is still an awesome player and I'd love him in our team.

As far as Brough goes, I don't find him the player that a lot of people make out and would not want to sign him. He would be an improvement on Deacon with the way Deacs has been playing this year, but I would much rather have someone else. There seems to be one very very easy way to stop Brough playing well, and that's to wind him up. Every single game I've seen him get wound up, he then starts kicking out on the full and generally playing crap. Other teams don't seem to capitalise on that nearly enough.
