We dont need a hindrance though, if he is willing to put effort in then go for it, if not (possibly like Mason) then he can stay in the wilderness, we cant afford to carry anyone they can just leave.

I would definitely consider him. The sort of big, aggresive forward that we don't have. A short term contract to prove himself in a relegation threatened team might be just the type of challenge he needs to get back to his best (which is pretty good). Even if he just ended up being a squad player then it's still another experienced number in our ranks.

All the top players are already signed up so beggars can't be choosers this year i'm afraid.

Fakir was a decent prop at one time. Maybe a bit too inclined to get involved when it wasn't necessary but he has a bit of 'devil' in him and if is in the right frame of mind would be a great addition right now. The way he's left les cats suggests that maybe his mind isn't in the right place though....maybe a so-much a game deal?

Eddie on sky mentioned they have a dozen players out so perhaps they don't have the luxury of anyone being out of favour. God help us if any of our lads go out of favour.
