Not seen any comment on the fact that the new shop/ticket office opens today at 11.00. Big Les is there to open it. And it sees the launch of an 'enterprising new product that is unique to rugby league'.
Interesting. Nice to see that the shop has been updated.
Any ideas on what the new product is? I'm not going to be able to get up today but will be interested to see what it is.

I notice that, according to the website, "after 3pm on Thursday you can only buy tickets for the Leeds game".

I wonder why they want to make it so difficult to buy away tickets on Matchday? Many buy tickets at the club for two reasons, 1)because the are cheaper and 2) there is a profit for the club - but I'd guess few want, or are able, to make a special trip to Odsal through the week to buy tickets. If it doesn't change, I'll be paying at the gate for away matches in future.

I'd imagine that they're trying to reduce queuing times on match day. You know? Get their money and get them into the ground so they can start spending? And it's not as if it's all day

But surely club shop is one off the places were wanting people to spend money?. If people pop in their before a match to get tickets for upcoming games there's more chance of a imcpulse purchase of merchandise than expecting people to make a extra trip to odsal during week to purchase tickets.

Looks smart. They've knocked through to the office behind & opened it out. Stuff is displayed much better.

The other change though , which touches on what mat & roofaldo2 are discussing, is that there is not an access to the ground anymore.

Before, on match day, you could get into the shop once you were in the ground. Now, you cannot. Don't know how significant that would be. You now have to go to the shop, before you enter the ground.

Wonder if their planning having that pop up shop thing theyve got setup somewhere inside the ground on match days?.

So....if you want to buy a ticket for an upcoming game on matchday, you have to turn up SIX HOURS before kick off and you think that's fine?
