Been released by Salford. Surely we must be doing everything possible to sign him up. Always been impressed by him. We're short of props. Wakey haven't wasted anytime in signing Smith up. We shall see.

Some people are just obsessed by Aussies, McPherson is one of the most ordinary imports ever.

I agree with you, but in this instance I think it was more about availability rather than talent.

As someone who has watched every game he's played in for us I'd have to disagree with that. Shannon was a very decent prop when fit. He was just very very injury prone.
