TBH, Sammut jumped from us, not for sporting reasons, but for a contract. A nice big, fat one that Wakefield said they'd pay him. He's clearly not there for the rugby hence his performances are not at a standard they should be.
Now, I've always like Jarrod Sammut as a player, however, he is the perfect example of a player who blows either hot or cold. When he's hot he can take teams apart, when he's not you can forget he's on the pitch. He doesn't seem to have a middle ground where he has just a solid game. It may be that he thinks he should be playing in a higher standard team, but no higher standard team seems to be that interested in signing him.
