Season ticket sales : Thu Oct 23, 2014 7:33 am
in the T&A today it's reported we've sold over 1000 season tickets so far.

Not a bad start, hopefully the club can hit its target of 4000

They should have made some sort of early bird offer. Many tightwads (like me) haven't shelled out yet (but eventually will) as there's nothing to be gained by paying early.

I know we have a feelgood factor at the moment but it's not until we see how the team play that this will finally sink in with a lot of people.

For that reason I think 4k is a very big ask for season tickets (not for general attendance). I'd hope once the season is underway there might be mini-packages for a few games at a time that will tempt those who were reticent to get a full one.

Great effort, especially considering we've been relegated and prices had a steep increase. Still yet to get mine.

To be fair, the ST price is still less than you'd pay on the gate if you attend every game, though I agree anyone taking the odd holiday isn't going to get the benefit. I agree with you in principal though, a little bit off would have been maybe symbolic, but would still have given folks the incentive to buy earlier.

BULLS chairman Marc Green believes "confidence is returning" among supporters after the club hit the 1,000 mark for 2015 memberships...

...Wakefield, one of the Super League teams the Bulls could face in the Super Eight play-offs next season, have also reached the 1,000 mark for 2015 season tickets.

Wildcats chairman Michael Carter tweeted: "We sold 2,300 last year. Surely you can beat that?"

MC quote in TnA article edited for inaccuracy.

Decent enough figures and I'm another who will get one eventually.

I'd be amazed if they get 4000 signed up. I'd say 2500-3000 would be very good and a more achievable figure.

Good that we've put the days of the unsustainable cheapo tickets behind us. It was obviously part of the reason for going into admin. It did have Ratner-esque qualties too which isn't healthy for selling tickets long term either.

The price makes perfect sense to me, our situation hasn't changed in that we're still a full time outfit playing in the same stadium - of which all terracing will be used apparently.
So as far as outgoings are concerned, dropping down a division changes nothing.

On top of that, we will actually play more home games next season than we did this one, so it's only natural (to me, at least) that the price should rise accordingly?

I don't buy the argument that 'we're not playing SL opposition anymore so tickets should be cheaper'. I don't buy my ticket and turn up to Odsal to watch the team we're playing against, I go to watch my team. I honestly couldn't give a stuff who it is we're playing.

If your club has no real intention of ever playing Super League clubs on a regular basis THEN cheaper tickets make sense. Ours, however, does hold that ambition. It doesn't just pay it lip service. I usually get my ticket with the early bird deadline, but as that's not happening this year, coupled with the fact I'm losing my job, means I'll likely hold back on buying mine until the New Year.

Saw a few comments on the T&A site expressing similar views. I hope the club have realised that there's not going to be the big spike in season ticket sales before Xmas this year given the price increase and lack of early bird.

The only deadline really is the seat renewal deadline at the end of next week.
