Worryingly I've only see backs mentioned. Not realy seen a scrum half or a prop mentioned which is what we badly need.
I know Kaufusi was mentioned in the T&A today, but wasn't sure if that was meaning at the end of last year we were interested or half way through this year.
For me I would push the boat out and sacrifice a few players to get him on board. Was great for us and would add some punch from the bench!
The problem we're going to have is that for all the areas we need to strengthen, Wakefield need the exact same type of player. Scrum halves and big props. So once again the salary cap disparity f*cks us over as they will inevitably be able to offer more money.

Will they though? They might have more money from SL but given their poor run last year will they be able to get enough money coming in to let them spend more than us?

This.
Rule limiting salary cap spend to 50% of turnover is being re-introduced to SL next year, assuming it also applies to championship. Don't think we'll have a problem getting 2million turnover hence we'll have full 1 million cap available. But think wakefield will have an issue getting 3.6million to allow them the full 1.8 cap for SL. Unless they get a big upsurge in crowds can see them being limited down to now much more than us. Think it could affect Hull kr and widnes too to a lesser extent. Salford will probably be ok provided Koukash gifts the club a million or two to bring their turnover up.

Glad to hear that, given that the salary cap was meant to be about keeping clubs sustainable. Not sure how that's enforced/measured but that's a different issue. I've not seen this story though - do you have a link confirming it?

It's been talked about on t'other forum. Specifically in thread about Salford/puletua. Koukash has been referring to it in articles I think.
