Gledhills tweeting about us offering a forward, James Davies a one month trial, ex leeds academy, hunslet and had a stint in lower leagues down under. Not sure if micks jumped gun as can't find any mention of it anywhere else.

If he's played 30 games in L1 or L2 it's probably be a decent pick up..

They were registered as short term contracts.

I would guess he can play, as Leigh said if he is fit and up to the job he may get a shot at a game

A quick google search tells me that he was called up by Penrith U-20's while he was Down Under, which in addition to coming through Rhino's academy suggests some talent. Currently playing part time RU for Morley. There's plenty of examples of players coming through similar convoluted paths back to professional RL and doing very well. Good luck to the lad.
