2020 Season Update
I hope you and your families are keeping well.
It has been a long while since we at the Bulls have properly interacted with the club’s biggest asset; you the fans, our army of season ticket holders.
The main reason being that there has been little to report.
We all have had and still have many things to worry about. I know for many of you the Bulls are an important part of your lives.
I am pleased to say that from the 1st of July some staff will return part time. The office will be open on limited hours, which represents a small step forward alongside our Online Shop being open for business.
John Kear has agreed a two-year extension deal and he and all his staff have agreed and volunteered to a wage reduction.
Staff have recognised the difficult position the club faces moving forward together with the importance of retaining our academy, which we 100% intend to do.
It has recently come into the public domain that Sky distribution is to be reduced next year for which the Championship will share its appropriate burden.
We have made steps over the past few months in building back a club that I hope you will once again be proud of. It remains our main aim to get back to Bradford as soon as possible. The lockdown may have extended our stay outside however we are determined and focused on delivering this aim.
We are also focused with John at the helm to have as strong as possible a side for next year.
Whatever happens this year and we are hopeful of playing more matches in front of a crowd, it is unlikely, unfortunately, we will fulfill all 13 home fixtures for you and other season ticket holders.
The shareholders have funded the club through this difficult period. However, we are going to have some tough months in front of us. I would ask you to consider your own position in regards to your 2020 season ticket purchase and give me or John your thoughts on what you feel.
It is difficult asking season ticket holders who have given so much in the past but I feel I must.
As soon as we can have a public meeting I would be pleased to meet all but until then please email myself at
mark.sawyer@bradfordbulls.co.uk or John Kear at
john.kear@bradfordbulls.co.uk and if you would like to talk to me I would be pleased to return a call.
I hope to keep yourselves informed on a regular basis as before the lockdown.
We most certainly will be available to be contacted at the club after the 1st of July.
Let's move forward hopefully to a positive future.
Many Thanks
Mark Sawyer
