Plenty of parking in the estate off Cleckheaton Road. And it's free! And it's quicker to get to Chain Bar through Low Moor than queuing to get onto the M606.

If you mean Glenroyd avenue, it's permit only, as in for people who live on that estate. So if you don't live there, you should probably stay off it as I know it's sometimes checked by authorities (I know that cause my sister lives there).

Plus, a few of the residents on their have been known to 'dob' on people parking in there, as I've been dobbed in for it but I was visiting my sister at the time ;).

I know that from this week, traffic enforcement officers will be patrolling estates that are permit holders only. This is going to happen for Bulls home games.
Anyone parking there who shouldn't will be getting a ticket.

£5 does seem a bit steep tbh although I'm sure the people have done the sums about people not parking there anymore v the increase in revenue.

Will it actually stop people parking there and the convenience they get?

I know this doesn't affect all but wasn't there an offer for season ticket holders to park behind the Coral Stand for a certain amount for the season, I wonder how competitive this is now versus parking at the sports centre.

Guess it's going to hit away fans the most?

We pay £50, but that's not the whole story, as you only get the "opportunity" ( ) to pay this if you pay the (considerable) extras to buy the top-dollar centre-stand tickets.

In the old days of so-called Vice Presidents, you paid top whack but this car parking was your perk. Then the marketing-speak men got hold of it and instead of being an inclusive perk, it became an "opportunity", (gee, thanks) to spend an extra bundle of cash.

How remiss of me! And the chance to test my old 4X4 in genuine marshland/swamp conditions.

£5 to park and £17 to get in, bloody steep considering the club need to invest (on and off the field), I'd have thought they'd be doing more to encourage fans (both home and away).

Having said that it is the Council who set the charge for the parking, maybe the club's hands are tied.

this is the point, it's a Council car park on Council land, and zero to do with the Bulls, who don't get a penny out of it.

You are talking about Bradford Council though so you should be grateful they haven't put hoardings around the Dunny's parking and dug the ba.stard permanently up.

I was meaning further down - Wesley Avenue, Belmont Avenue and associated cul-de-sacs and crescents. It's the estate at the other side of Cleckheaton Road where you can cut through from the mucky track that runs between the playing fields and the cricket club.

I was actually thinking at the game yesterday that they hadn't put the parking price up and that £3 wasn't too bad, must of jinxed it!

I went in for the Huddersfield game and was shocked at the £3!
