While I think he has often made himself look a bit silly in the press I think all in all Hood has done well in terms of the off-field operations of the club, and I don't exactly see a queue of people waiting to replace him.
However, he does risk the good work that has been done financially, and in putting a focus on youth development that slipped away under Chris Caisley's "rule", if he doesn't do something to address the utter tripe being served up on the pitch, which is the ultimate product, and ultimate advertisement for the club.
