Yes its clearly not the full story. The full reason is because the non playing staff are so much easier and cheaper to release than players, nor would there be an issue with salary cap. clearly cheaper to pay a few weeks redundancy than the rest of a two year contract AND pay another cheaper replacement player. That way you end up paying more for a worse player. Clearly stupid to all except compulsive-obsessive trolls.
Hey, a gratuitous oblique barb randomly flies in my direction! Splendid! That's what we need more of on the forum, gratuitous oblique barbs. They add so much.
What's the matter, still smarting from you regular humiliations, and thought you could sneak a little dig under the radar?
1. I cling to the thought that at least our season ticket should be cheaper. 2. As soon as I saw that dog on the pitch at Catalan it put me in mind of the Venky chickens and how we could replicate it... 3. I dunno if I posted a Championship team last weekend but I certainly ended up thinking of who would stay and bit in it. turns out about 75% of the squad: FB, W, Wood, Arundel, Kear, L Pryce*, Brook, Sidlow, O'Brien, P, Olbison, Addy, Walker. Subs: Conroy, Roberts, Mellor, Bates.
*(I reckon he'll have a swansong season) I also think we'll end up with a few players like Chris Clarkson at Leeds or some other West Yorkshire youngsters.
I have been given to understand that we have been docked another two points for having another unregistered player at the Catalan Game ........Peppi le Dog??????

Oh do come on and be fair - it was obvious they didn't know the dog, it barely looked at them. The fact they also didn't appear to know each other was totally beside the point and can't be used in evidence..

Interesting article on the BBC site today re comments from the London manager Grima. They are certainly being open about their plan B - though in their case plan A went out of the window some time ago.
Strange that "SL quality players" are prepared to commit to the team which, as of right now, is the one most Observers, both amongst the pros and the fans, feel is definitely one of those to go down.

Depends on their definition of SL quality players. If they include anyone who's ever made a SL appearance before rapidly dropping down to championship level then there's plenty out their.
