Rubbish Francis, I've proved you can have a perfectly good line up if you jut play players IN THEIR POSITIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope I'm proved wrong but I expect another defeat!

I could not agree more

You've totally nailed the fact that we can actually field a perfectly serviceable team if only Cummins would stop playing people out of their positions - an experiment that has not worked out at all.

I do not want to see Chev Walker at prop when we have Sidlow, Manu, Fakir and Baldwinson, before even get to Bates. There is simply no reason - other than the nagging 'we were mates at Leeds' argument...

Chev will play. Unless injured. there's no doubting that. He's been playing at prop and I respect him for putting his hand up to play prop, but he's not effective there.

If he dusted off his (long ago) instincts from playing many years at centre, I think he could be an effective 13. Decent size, power (just not enough for prop),pace (not enough for centre anymore), handling skills. He's got the number on his back, why not give him a run at that position?

I don't get understand the criticism of Chev Walker or FC for playing him at Prop to be honest. I'm sure given the choice FC wouldn't be picking Chev to play at Prop where he is clearly not best suited. The other options suggested are playing an inexperienced back row forward there or an 18 year old Prop who clearly isn't physically ready to be playing SL every week.

We simply don't have enough middle men at the club and I don't see either of the above options as improvements to our front row. I suspect Chev is getting the nod because he is one of the senior players who some of the young players look up to.

I can't knock Bates for effort but the hard fact is that he is nowhere near big enough to play prop.
He got absolutely mullered every time he took the ball in against Wire.

Hot on the news of Kaufusi leaving, we now have a 1 match ban for Pitts, who's been charged with a dangerous throw and taken an early guilty plea.

Solutions on a postcard please as to how we can stem our haemmorhaging of pack members and if not, who on earth we can play in the pack against Salford. In fact, cancel that, volunteers from any planet may apply
t

I suppose if FC played Kear at FB Foster back on the wing and Gaskell at Stand Off, we would have Addy and Ferguson if back? plenty to cover the problem, but Pitts is a significant loss as is kaufusi.

is that about postcard size?

Northus/Bully, Bates has played better than Walker at
Prop. Yes he got a bit of a battering, but he got stuck in and kept coming back for more. He played well
Against Wire.

Walker never busts a tackle, doesn't make any metres and was shot after 15mins against Wire (the first try we conceded was down to him) I respect him for putting his hand up, but he's isn't a prop.

You say Cummins has no choice but he does! When we played the younger players we beat Wire!! Rest of games when we've played the senior players, we're not just losing, we're getting smashed.

That's just one position though, what about playing our stand off at FB, a second rower at stand off and having a back on the bench!!??

Are you saying Bates hasn't mastered that position yet?

Well I'm not. Master Bates in the front row. It's what we're used to.
