I think the vast majority were simply looking at a situation where a bloke , who had shown great loyalty - way beyond the call of any duty - then got sacked when the goings on got a bit easier.
To be straight about this, I also feel awful about what happened to a thoroughly decent bloke like Franny Cummins; I also feel events have shown that, from the club's POV, it was the correct decision. At the end of the day it was a 'business' decision and, in many ways only too typical in a sporting world where coaches and managers sometimes don't even make the first game of the season before being fired. At least the few wins have stopped Stevo in his tracks, with his rant about "it hasn't made things any better".
