Aren't more tough and tougher the same thing?? If Wakey get all their big guns back fit and firing I'd disagree with you but it's a big if
haha valid point, i meant just as tough, if not tougher.
If all the teams have their strongest 17, in a one off game, on paper Wakey should win. But it's not played on paper and it depends what sort of state Wakey go into the middle 8's in. Even if they have all their players 100% fit physically, if they are down on confidence, they lose the fans because of the performances and Webster loses the dressing room, then i think Wakefield could be in trouble. Wakefield's biggest problem is they perhaps don't quite have the squad depth of others. They have the strongest first 17, but lose on or two players, and it affects them more IMHO.
I also think the chances of teams having their strongest 17, 100% fit for the middle 8's (which is still over a 2 month period) is slim.
If i would to choose right now, i would prefer Wakefiled away to Leigh away due to the lack of confidence in Wakefield. However a lot of rugby to be played between now and August. I've said it before, but Wakey always go on a mini run, and if they can manage this between now and August and get some confidence, i think they are better than Bradford & Leigh and may even finish high enough to not have to appear in the "million pound game"
Tomorrow is a big game for Wakey, they are virtually full strength, and if they lose tomorrow, they could just lose the fans. once that happens, doens't matter who's on the team sheet, they're in trouble. Happened to us last year. FWIW, i think Wakey will win tomorrow.
