The bus up to Odsal from the town centre leaves from right outside Jacobs Well.

The pies in Bradford Brewery are superb. Lovely mash too.

These are all quite a way from our iconic hole in the ground however.

Dolly does food weekdays but not Sat or Sun

Unless there's some event going on, the North Parade bars (apart from the Record Cafe which I don't think opens on a Sunday) are open. I think they do bar food too

Forget Bradford, it's a dump. Get thissen to 'Three Pigs in Fax, it's only 20 minutes from the hole in't ground.

I supped enough in't Pump Room to try keep it going! Calderfail councils fault. Demolish a cracking pub to build more shops when they can't let the one's they already have.

I don't get into Halifax much these days but it's always sad to see good pubs bite the dust. Hopefully I'll be in the pigeons, a week on Sunday!
