I do think there's something in that

It's great to have someone who advocates for our club, rather than just laying down and taking whatever is thrown at us - but it seems every single decision that's made results in an 'appeal' of some sort

All of us at one time or other will have to quietly swallow down a sense of injustice, because appealing it would be either fruitless or counter-productive.

Rather than appeal a nothing of a warning, I'd keep our powder dry for when the next clusterfck hits us.

As a club I'd like to see us not antagonise the RFL. I feel we should accept every penalty with a smile and thank them profusely. It's not like Marc Green has lots of history with them...or us for that matter. We may need them as a help rather than a hindrance one day.

It would just be our luck that the RFL decide to impose a points deduction for the middle8's.

I think green has been brilliant for this club, and will see us go from strength to strength and ventilation back into SL.

However I think sometimes we just have to take our medicine. Maybe we think we haven't done anything wrong in the Leigh game and maybe the fact we had 14 on the field against Dewsbury is more of an error by the 4th official than the club, but appealing usually ends up making things worse. We don't have a great record of it

decision on both appeals deferred until next week. punishment for 14 men on pitch which were appealing was 2k fine. can see that turning into a 2pt deduction for appealing especially if sheffield manage to close points diffference significantly this weekend. Should have just taken fine on chin and moved on IMO.

Agree.

We'll be maybe going into an important appeal one of these days and first thing we'll hear is the committee muttering," Oh Jesus, not this bloody lot again". It's just not worth it, as said above, it's time to take it on the chin and move on.
