Other than Leigh fan Cobb, I really don't care who the ref is. Cobb can and has beaten us on his own, but there is nobody else anywhere near as useless as him, and it is up to us to overcome all adversity including any debatable calls etc. Other than Cobb, i don't see any of the proper refs making it a penaltython, as the refs seem clearly instructed to let the big game sflow, and so it's down to us. It is up to the players to be in the right determined, aggressive and hungry frame of mind, ready to work their bollox off for 80 minutes and stick to the game plan come what may.
When we've done that, we've looked very good, and hard to beat. Whether it is enough to beat Wakey we don't know, as last time we went there it was in headless chicken mode. It would definitely be enough to make it interesting, and so all I want is us to come out in that frame of mind and take it to them the whole game. And then we'll see.
I have a mate who is the unluckiest gambler ever. The sheer number of hard luck stories ... anyway I am trying to get him to put money on Wakey. If i actually give him the money, do you think that will count to hex them, or would it have to be his own?
