Do you mean the freehold, from the council?
We haven't actually been told anything specific about the talks with the council - and probably won't be. I can't imagine it's going to be a massive amount though, given the problems - chemical waste, instability of the waste, needs levelling etc, you'd have to wonder how much a commercial developer would consider putting into it. I suspect it's not an arm and a leg or Marc probably wouldn't have gone into it.
I do wonder though, just what it is we can do with the freehold, other than put pressure on the RFL to sell the lease, that we couldn't do just by being leaseholders. After all, in 130 odd years when we have to hand everything back to the council, we'll all have been dead for a long time and no one will care what we've done with the ground, so why can't we just build anyway? After all, upkeep and development is down to the club anyway.
