Hope you guys didn't tap him up...

I bet there's hell of a lot of part-time players that have a similar clause so it's not quite the same as a full time player walking out of a club to go to another full time club tho is it

Let's face it, he isn't and was never coming to the bulls. So, It's a championship player wanting to be a super league player, not a huge difference in my opinion. Leigh should just let him go to where ever hes going and move on but the club dosen't help it's self with its incredibly unprofessional statements and it's owner putting his dirty washing out for everyone to see.

On topic, at least its some good news for our homegrown kid Lumb. Should get a bit more game time over Easter.

Not shocked at Halafihi going on loan - despite the, 'great prospect', tag he seems to have slipped behind younger players in the thinking of his coaches.

I always thought Hood was a decent prospect when I saw him playing the odd match for the Rhinos and then on loan at Salford, so I'm a bit surprised that Leeds apparently feel he won't make a super league player and have released him. He may well be one to come back and bite them on the bum, imo.

Seems to be his (Hood) attitude that lets him down... All the ability to be a top player, but unfortunately not the commitment or discipline. Shame

He got clubman of the year didn't he? So commitment is ok. And some serious family injury news last year as well.

I think this will be a good move for the lad. O'Brien's development greatly improved as he was playing nearly 80 minutes every week. However as Vila didn't get that level of exposure to first team rugby, his development has stalled.

He left Leeds a while ago. Was released by them so joined Salford on permanent contract. Left Salford to go to some low level Aussie side I believe, but didn't last long and ended up at Swinton (until he found a full time gig by the looks of it).
