Paul Anderson might be available soon, maybe even Brian McDermott!

What are the odds on an entire front row of Bulls circa 1997 being out of work by the end of the week?

I'd take Anderson in a heartbeat.

Anderson is fitter than Lauaki and slimmer than Crossley. Walker is out of favour so he's already 4th prop in line!

If Lowes hasn't the basic communication skill set to actually communicate his message to the players then the situation is more perilous than we thought.

You've seen his post match interviews. If that's the level of communication he takes into training then it's no wonder we're in the mess we are

What we need, at the very least, is a Press Release from the club outlining where exactly we go from here. They need to either sack Lowes or publicly back him and at least it will put an end, to some degree, the constant speculation.

It seems clear to me (and has for a while now) that Lowes is not up to the task, but he is not alone. The recruitment (whomever is responsible for it) has been poor and there really is not real sign of any improvement anywhere.

Yes, we can all (rightfully) moan about the inequality of the middle 8's and home promotion is unlikely but we need to get our own house in order before finding fault with others.

What exactly IS the long term plan for BBRLFC? We need some clarification. Fast.

Not sure the usual, 'vote of confidence', from the board is something to put an end to speculation - to be honest, in the usual sporting context it usually just ramps it up.

I think after the, 'new smaller, more effective squad', turned into the same kind of bloated, half used one, we had last year, we are definitely authors of our own problems and the current disarray is just another symptom of that. For sure, the 'top brass', Chairman Green, Steve Ferres and Robbie need to have a close look at what is going on, identify the reasons behind it and then act.

My opinion is that the top end of the squad [even without a recognised 7]is of high enough quality to be a force in this division, and even be the nucleus of a good side in a higher division, so it must be down to how they are being led.

It could be we would the same problem that we have finding a suitable scrum half!
A Coach with SL experience is needed
Morro is a sentimental ask same as when we got Jimmy.
Just to frighten you Richard Agar is available ;-)

When we (Fax) got relegated we made this same mistake, not with the coach so much but the players. We signed a load of rubbish SL players rather than signing the bes Championship players. I think its the same with the coach, at this level a decent Championship coach who knows and understands the league is most needed. Surprised theres not been much mention of Rowley. Or even Matt Calland, former Bulls player, led Fax to back to back titles playing exciting rugby.

Some will take offence to this, but I mean it politely; youre not a SLclub anymore and the sooner you recognise it the sooner youll become a top championship club.

I think most of our fans have accepted it to be fair. More so this season than last.

Well I thought the idea of recruiting Harrison was to get someone in with knowledge of the championship but apparently he and Lowes fell out and according to Harrison Lowes wasn't interested in his advice. I'm not sure how much knowledge of the league is that important. If you have the right squad and they are coached well you have a better chance no matter what the league. At the moment we have a bloated and unbalanced squad of players that have lost all confidence and a coach who's lost for answers.

TBH mate nobody has thought we were a SL team for sometime now. As far as accepting we're a championship side is concerned that's obvious - we're not even a top one in that division at the moment.

I agree. Judging by Lowes' press conference yesterday he sounded a defeated man. I really can't see him turning this around.

Ferres has delivered a mess of a playing squad. Too many players are signed that are superfluous to requirements. We're told money is tight yet we've frittered a lot away on players that never play - even in an injury crisis.

I agree. The players we have are much better than they're showing - it's all reminiscent of Franny Cummins final days in charge at the moment. A new man in charge might just put some smiles back on faces at the very least. I just hope the current malaise isn't a sign of other off field problems lurking.
