On what basis do you make that claim? It sounds like nonsense to me. What money, for a start? And if it would be an easy route to riches to "develop Odsal" - why has no-one come in and made this easy money before?
More to the point - in that case - why not just stand by and let the club fold, THEN negotiate a deal to buy?

Interesting. Last I heard, City had a lease on VP until about 2026, £370,000 pa. They also lease the office block for a similar sum. Why would their landlords let them off those payments, then?
