I'm not voting just now because I suspect my anger will subside and I'm not ready to give up on my team just yet. I am however not in any great rush to visit Odsal and this year and using my remaining membership. I may reconsider if RS gives a few of the future crop some game time however.
If prices remain at the high level, I feel I am more likely to pay on the gate and see how things go rather than take a season long commitment out.
Good post. Maybe someone could phone Lowes and ask him how his pre-season theory looks right now...
Yep, i'd also like them to ask him about the importance of half backs/full backs. I know he wasn't helped by the late departures of Gareth O'Brien, Jake Mullaney and Harry Siejka but come on, Rohan managed to get Charnock, Chisholm and Moss in no time at all.
The championship shield is going to be hard to get excited about, even though the home games are covered by the season ticket. I'd rather the season just ended now. It just gives Halifax a couple more opportunities to get one over on us!

There's the problem for Green, in one. Of those not disillusioned totally, he needs cash up front from membership, and you've explained one of the eminently reasonable reasons why he won't get it.
For people of your view (which will be very many) the Catch 22 is that your wait and see will lead to the very outcome which you fear - as insufficient season ticket sales inevitably means beastly limited wage bill.
I think a lot will depend on what transpires over the next few weeks and the off season. The club need to react to what happened today, if I was in charge I'd be looking at making some kind of statement as early as next week. Get all of the departure announcements out of the way asap, the rumours have been there almost all season so nobody will be that shocked by them. I want some acknowledgement from the club that they have f*cked this season up, royally. I want assurances that we will remain full time and Marc's intentions for next season and beyond. Season ticket pricing also needs to be addressed. Focus on the positives, the potential in our academy players, giving Rohan a full off season to amass his own squad, and the clear out of all the deadwood.
If they can do this, with some humility, then I'll have no problem renewing.
What they absolutely can not do, is try and turn this around on the fans. If there is even a hint of management trying to put pressure on fans to renew, or threats of what might happen if we don't renew, then they can f*ck right off. It would be an absolute disaster, ticket sales would tank and it would probably spell the end of full time rugby in Bradford. I'm hoping Green and Ferres have more sense than to come out and pin all of this on us.

Agree with that - no more cringy article from Ferres in the T&A that the fans really need to get behind the team during the trip to Swinton etc. We were there in droves today and were hardly repaid

I know what you mean about Catch-22. The problem is they lie to you. We were promised a slimmer squad with more quality and then they rushed out buying Tom, Dick & Harry. Even tempting players out of retirement that also kept their SL job. I really think we need to see something up front now.
I look on Bradford’s plight with a “there but for the grace of God go I” attitude.
Next season looks pretty dire regarding funding & S.T sales, so I don’t see how you will compete for the top four next year.
So why go chasing it next year? Why not assemble a group of mainly young local lads, with a smattering of experience, because one thing Bradford isn’t short of, that’s producing some top talent.
They could have a rigid wage structure for the young lads, you know the ones, the young lads that would try to run through a wall for the badge. The “Leeds” model wasn’t too shabby.
It would be hard at first, but as the team came on together, they would be challenging for a top four spot in one or two years, unless of course some Sugar Daddy was to Rock Up. I think with a good coach this would be the most viable financial option.
