The usual (over past 2yrs anyway). We didn't give him a run in a specific position, kept moving him about, dropped him once he'd made a mistake to maximise the damage to his confidence, never gave him a chance to get any form and left him in the reserves thereafter (who don't have any games they can play).

I think he's actually been injured all this season

Possibly he has. I've not seen him in any pots/casts/knee braces or shoulder slings in the last 2months though. Which isn't definitive, I know.
