We actually know so little that we can't even be sure they are the real runners and riders, let alone make a decision about which is best.

Think I'd need a crystal ball before making my mind up, and when it comes down to it, the best is the one which will still be in charge with a still functioning company in three years time...and that would be??

If you could get your hands on a Rugby League World magazine - dated around the time/month or so either before or after Dr Koukash took over at Salford,there is a section in the magazine devoted to New Zealand.

In that section the writer mentions a Belgium multi-millionaire,associated with Chalmers who wished to invest in rugby league.It was thought he may have been going to assist Salford - but didn't.

The section also reports on the eating,one night,by Nigel Wood,which may serve as a health warning.

Dr Koukash took over January 2013.

Rugby league in Australia operates far different to here all the NRL teams are linked to Leagues clubs which generate the money for the NRL side. Take this income stream away Rugby League clubs in Australia would be as broke as their English counterparts.

Helpfully there is no name mentioned in the article. (I collect RLW and I thought I'd check) {March 2013, Issue 383, page 72}

Back when the world game was dominated by men with substantial waistlines, the 'three fat controllers' as they were called - Chalmers, the RFL's Nigel Wood, and the NRL's finance chief Ed Farish - formed a fast friendship forged over Bradford curries."

Give over man..You need a good one to run your club..Hopefully one without an "admin" department or one that knows whats it doing.

Yes you are correct, as you need an owner of substantial wealth to continue RL in Bradford.How the RFL determine after three admins who is the better proposition,I can only give praise to one taking it on.

So Chalmers likes Bradford's currys, he has an eating friendship with Nige and a rich friend who likes the colours RedAmberandBlack - thats it then; no point voting - its a done deal
