call me a cynical old bugger, but is this a Union club showing interest in our fair game. Or a stadium management team looking to utilise their little used establishment ?

They were the same guys that were interested in us. Perhaps they were put off because we were in Ch. The rumours around clubs selling SL franchises may have re-sparked their interest. Bulls supporters more than anyone should know that if you have a purpose built stadium you need to use it as much as possible.
By the way, I am not aiming this particularly at Wakey but it seemed to fit in with various rumours.

I personally don't think any SL club should be able to sell their franchise to another entity..

If Wasps want a Super League team they will have to do what Toronto and Toulouse have had to do and start in C1, and realistically we should have had to do, and may end up doing with the -12 start if Chalmers and Lowe don't bring players in soon and get Toovey sorted.

Putting anyone straight in SL makes a mockery of the game, although that isn't usually a problem for fat Nige and Co.

We wouldn't have left Bradford.. Why leave our fan base to go where RL has never been played before?

The long-term problem isn't the fans but the players. It's possible to hype up the game to get speccies through the door (see yawnion) but how long can someone afford to ship in decent players before there is a core of home-grown talent that is sustainable? We don't pay enough, unlike soccer, for entire teams to up sticks & live in far away cities.
