Ross seems to think Kear is nailed on and he's pretty reliable.

TBF to Frank he did post he didn't see this coming on this thread before any hint of Kear.

If Greenwood is his assistant, its excellent news

If that's the case Frank, I am not surprised they extended the ST deadline as that combination must appeal to most fans.

Steady, I have zero credibility on this board after the whole takeover over debacle, please don't go trying to repair my reputation

Got a whisper last week, that we were lining up Kear - I'm pleased, insofar as it stabilises us and we'll be hard to beat. He is 63 though, so want to see him paired with a young, hungry and longer term successor.

I think it’s brilliant that both Aaron Bower and Ross Heponstall have broken this and it’s made the club then have to have a media meeting tomorrow to unveil the coaching staff. I still feel that there are a few more twists and turns yet to unfold before the season gets underway.
