Yeah, its annoying. I don't live anywhere near Odsal, I've only been able to confirm my availability today, so I'm stuck with having to get a ticket from the ticket office on the day...rubbish. I'll still be going, but no cash turnstiles will prevent some from bothering and just annoy people (or me at least) if they have to queue when really you shouldn't have to.

Hopefully the ticket office route works out ok....

All about the penny pinching. They seem to be under the impression that putting the bare minimum of staff on is the best monetary solution. Presumably believing people will put up with whatever p*ss poor customer service is available as long as they get there in the end, so why pay more to have better service? Doesn't stop at ticket sales and turnstiles either, it's clear across the board at some clubs (and yes, I include Bradford)

So many clubs do it now, one assumes that they're correct. Might p*ss people off more, but I have no doubt that's not a consideration for them, and it's all about what makes most money.

You'd think so, to be fair, though, we've had the situation beofre where clubs share a ground but have their own admin and matchday teams, so it's not a given.
As for no cash turnstiles, a quick look through our board will tell you that Bradford have done the same and that many aren't too happy about it. The sight of stewards trying to scan the codes on home-computer printed out flimsy A4 tickets, on mobile phones in the wind and rain is a sight to behold...

Speaking to the girl in the Donny ticket office most of their fans pay on the day from there. There are 2-3 Windows to pay at.
