Yes, I quite agree, a minutes silence would have been exactly right.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with the idea of applause. It is not fitting for a death, imho. It was only ever introduced because certain other crowds couldn't be trusted not to start chanting and singing songs; RL is better than that and there is no need to copy this.

I agree about the minutes silence. I think it shows more respect than applauding. It's a bug bear of mine is the applauding or maybe I'm out of the ark.

It was a great shame that no tribute was given by the club in the form of a minutes silence. Hobbo and Pete did a bit in their broadcast on BcB but even Hobbo said he was surprised that there was no tribute. Also they mentioned that Damian Irving is now working at the Bulls any one else heard or know if that’s true?

Irvine has been up there in a consultancy capacity I think.

I hear that there was no tribute because someone in the club hierarchy thought Forsyth played more at York and that they should do the tribute. Sounds a bit mean spirited to me.

154 appearances over 6 years is what I've got - not exactly a 'bit part' player.

Disappointing from the Bulls and a bit sad, imo.

When did they do that YR? "Like they did before" suggests they've actually charged previously, but I always assumed it was done purely out of respect.

I agree, perhaps someone on here who knows someone up there could have a word in their shell like, Colin was a great player who served us well, and there should be a mark of respect
