You have to ask yourself, if you got this kind of service at Next, would you accept it?Of course you wouldn't. And the club rely on that loyalty that people have to get away with giving poor customer service, which is what is being described on this thread. I'm sure most clubs have done it at some point, to varying degrees. They know you'll put up with more because it's your team.
I'd have had my money back by now. Perhaps if enough people requested a refund, they might be more inclined to give you some proper answers or do something about it.
That's not to knock the people who work in the shop either, I'm sure they'll be as in the dark as the fans. They're just in the unenviable position of having to take the flack. Another reason to not kick off with shop workers as it's very rarely their fault. You can point out poor customer service and ask for refunds while still being polite to the workers.
