Well we’ve made it very hard for ourselves now, with two very tough away fixtures to come. Both sides above us, so we could either be 3rd in a couple of weeks time or we could be out the play offs, season over. Momentum has gone, so it will take an almighty effort to keep the season alive now.
Lacked creativity, lacked momentum not helped by a very slow play the ball throughout. With 3 or 4 starting players missing we look very ordinary. Gaskell was clearly a big loss and moving our best fullback to halfback to cover that loss wasn’t a successful tactical decision. York last play options were better than ours and they stepped it up in the 2nd half with some clever plays.
Desperately need the likes of Rogers, Gaskell and Blackmore back for London.
