Pele with ball in hand - destructive. However, he does like to be the 'dummy runner' too often.
Defensively, if a player runs straight at him, then he's very strong. Any lateral movement and he's done for. Also, slow retreater. If he sets his head right, and works hard, then he could go on and have a good career, but says it all really for me, when Ligi Sao at Hull was going to do extra fitness training with him, and Pele failed to show up time after time

Poor attitude by the sound of it.

While there are definitely some concerns about his attitude, I think we should focus on the potential he brings to the team and give him the opportunity to prove himself. I assume he can play the role of the impact prop off the bench. I've not really kept close tabs on him but I assume from his size that's the role he's played previously at Hull and York.

I understand the reservations about his attitude. Pele comes with some disciplinary issues but I am hopeful that a new environment and the right support system can make all the difference.

What gives me hope is that we’ve signed him on a short-term deal. This shows that the management is aware of the potential risks but also sees the value in giving him a chance. You could say it is a win-win situation: if he performs well and keeps his discipline in check, we benefit greatly. If not, we aren't locked into a long-term commitment.

Looking forward to seeing him in action and hoping for the best!

Will go one way or the other. Has the ability to tear the league apart and still only 23. Up to him where his career goes from here.Just hope it isn't one of those signings championship clubs make and end up being a disaster.

As usual, the moronic fans chime in. We're going bust again. Why do we sign players when we've got an academy. Thick as mince!

Has the ability like you say, but has he the attidude?

If he applies himself as he should knowing he needs a decent contract for next year he could be a great impact prop. Especially at championship level. He’s still young and worth a gamble. We need to cover him in defence though.

That and his discipline is probably a concern
