I was thinking about the Leeds dual reg situation last night. I might be a bit cynical here, but wouldn't it be (financially) more beneficial for Leeds if we finished in the top 4 over Fev or Fax?
We would certainly generate a larger gate for our game against them, so naturally they'd make more money.

With that in mind, they could decide not to lend Fev any players for next week, thus weakening their chances of turning us over.

I'm not suggesting this will happen, but it certainly raises some issues with the current system.

Are they dual reg or loaned?
If dual reg I don't think Leeds could prevent it [unless they pick the players to play for Leeds that weekend], if loaned it would surely depend on the loan period and agreement, Though somehow I don't think the rules would say the loaning club could pick and choose the loanee's games. Of course, it is the RFL we are talking about..

They're Dual Reg. Which means Leeds have overall say every week as to whether they can play for Fev or not, regardless of whether Leeds play them.

He is still there, but has missed the last couple of games (I believe through injury)

With the return of promotion and relegation,dual reg should have been abolished.End of.

Especially when teams who are dual registered can actually end up playing each other, or directly affecting each other's fortunes. It's totally crazy.
