It was only when I saw a French poster for the game that someone had stuck on Facebook, which also had 1800 down as kick off, that I realised it was actually CET and not BST. Luckily it was yesterday morning, so I got the full commentary on BCB.

Well this weekend wasn't a total disaster as Dewsbury threw away to lose against Oldham and Swinton narrowly lost to London when they looked like they could nick it at one point.

Whilst we can't really say we had an u19's squad out, we probably fit the old u21's squad description - with a couple of overage players which were allowed under those rules.

Previous posts seemed to suggest your team were to young. If that is this case they can hardly be battle hardened

Iliess Macani, Jordan Lilley, James Bentley, Josh Jordan-Roberts, Lee Smith, Daniel Murray & Mikolaj Oledzki played in home game but not this weekend.

Replaced by Johnny Campbell, Omari Caro, James Davies, Evan Hodgson, Matty Storton, Brandon Pickersgill & Brandan Wilkinson.

Also Mendeika playing fullback instead of centre, with Thomas in halves instead of fullback.

Mendeika is crap at fullback. He's not all that good at centre, but he makes less of a difference there.

Lilley is 50 times better at half back than Thomas.

The likes of Murray & Oledzki missing are one of the main problems. They were carrying our front row. When you replace them with kids like Hodgson, Wilkinson & Storton, it's a big difference.

Lee Smith's bench spot taken by debuting academy player Brandon Pickersgill.

The only real improvement in there is Macani being left out for Johnny Campbell. Otherwise, it's a fair difference in quality. 63 points difference? Maybe not. But you can't put a price on a good and preferably experienced pack, which we are BADLY missing.

Who played where in the team? I can't believe the way they are shown as lining up on the website or in the media, with Kirk at Centre, Magrin as wing and Caro at scrum half. Also doesn't show Thomas in the 17, but the T&A reported he missed an easy conversion
