This is no criticism of Mark.Sawyer but he's given three interviews and said three different things.
Maybe it's best we wait for things to calm down a bit before the full picture materialises.
The main creditor outside of Andrew Chalmers was repaid yesterday.
Hudson Energy have not been paid per se; they and BB17 just came to an 'arrangement'. If BB17 had not done so then our great club would have once again been crucified. That said the (alleged) crucifixion will likely occur in the not too distant future either due to the outfall from the news of the upcoming 'brewing storm' re £150K - £200K plus of misappropriated funds, or because some other creditors take the WUP process all the way and BB17 is wound up; as to be fair it should be as it's presently woefully insolvent.
The aforementioned electricity company were we understand ranked equal 3rd as the largest creditor by value. So we respectfully disagree with Gled's claim in this regard as per the above.
The news of Chalmers as being a major creditor is we believe utter bunkum. So that leaves details of largest creditor #1 and major creditor #2 to be disclosed. We know who they are, but for legal reasons dare not say, so the fans and the press have two options:
1) Ask the recently pronounced open and transparent 24.99% BB17 shareholder, Mark Sawyer, to be open and transparent about the names of the top five BB17 creditors by value as of 1930hrs on 22 October, 2019 (the date and time being significant!), or
2) Hazard a guess on the forum regarding the names of the top two creditors by value as of 22/10, and whoever gets it right will receive a Pvt & Conf'l confirmatory Private Message (PM) from nestegg - lucky them.
Given that 1) above will not in all likelihood happen, because the announcement would likely hugely embarrass the club, so option 2) above may be the fans only choice in the short term.
There is no doubt that many of true facts are being withheld, and that does not bode well. We have always wished the Wood/Sawyer consortium the best of luck (and boy do they need it), but to date they are exhibiting all the same lamentable 'smoke and mirrors' conduct that was so characteristic of Chalmers and a number of the club's previous owners .... and which is also (allegedly) so typically characteristic of the RFL.
Gee, it sure is a bit chilly in Greenland tonight!
