I want to know what exacly City get in the ground share idea? How much of it goes to the owner of the stadium, as i see it Bradford City and its co chairman are asking for £5 million to buy back Valley Parade "upgrade" the pitch so it can accomadate RL?? dose that sound right??? The pitch they can't afford to do yet they are pushing on with it anyway???? It stinks and sounds like the deals been done and dusted behind closed doors. It seems City and its supporters have been party to a lot of things the Bulls fans and Mr Hood Havn't. It smells very fishy! It wouldn't be much of a supprise though, im sure the bradford councilers would much rather go to valley parade than go to odsal to watch a premiership game rather than a super league game, suppose they have every chance with a solvent club like the the bulls bank rolling the footy club!
What happends if by some miracle City manage to get back into the premiership (bearing in mind the fa proposals on duel code stadia), might take a few years granted (if at all
), in the meen time Odsal's been filled and offices, industrial or houseing is built on it, or even the stadium is that over grown odsal is classed as not safe for use, (the odeon springs to mind) were dose that leave the club then?
Lets not forget City never get any hand outs and have to it off thier own backs, which is not quite true, it was only a few weeks ago they recieved a £3 million pound pay out plus 2 councill workers to help out in thier offices. So i ask again were in the hell dose money go down at valley parade?
