Well Luke George is officially leaving at the end of the season.

And there's 5 signings at tonight's shindig along with new coaching staff additions being announced.

It looks like the future might be fairly bright for the Bulls with that new sponsor

What I noticed from the Ulugia video was the amount of room he appeared to have when receiving after PTB; teams were kept well apart by Ref and our new man came bombing onto the pass. Dont get that amount of room here. We were lucky to take 3 steps at times this season, let alone get on a run.

Wouldn't be my 1st choice for a scrum half but I can't see a better player being available. I think the giants have been linked with him though.

London have signed Ben Hellewell from Fev.
Not a bad signing that, Ben was someone I had hoped we would be looking at.

Not sure about Hellewell. He looked ok in our academy and was obvs more rated by Wire than us who signed him. It didn't work out for him in SL. Looks a bit lightweight IMO.

I can't help but feel a little disappointed we could easily have an all Antipodean starting three-quarter line of Mullaney, Ulugia, Henry, Purtell and Uaisele.

Unquestionably it's about using the regulations to the fullest and ensuring we pull out all the stops to be promoted but IMO it's still disheartening to immediately look down under. I'm at least hoping Shaw, Williams and Blythe hold their own in the backs.

Tonight should be interesting, I've a feeling the players may be juniors stepping up but I'm just as interested in the backroom staff announcements.

TBH I'm less bothered about the nationality of the team as long as we can get back up. We already have the highest rated academy set up in West Yorkshire and have provided large numbers of players that currently play in SL and a few in the NRL. We can't help it at the moment if our best youngsters are picked up by richer clubs.
